Encaustic on paper

My artwork is abstract and intuitive. Reacting to the world around me, I create art that reflects my experiences, an emotional archeology often revealing itself in hidden layers across various mediums. As a highly visual person, with a former career in photography and photojournalism, I process the world around me through the image. My work often features a through line of hidden meanings. The mediums I work with include encaustic, photography, and acrylic.
